Lessons learned

After 840km travelled in Spain by train, bus and foot we have arrived in Santiago! I walked 530.3km in 5 weeks with blisters, sunburns and sore feet but I made it!

I learned a few lessons along the way:

Turns out it is not smart to jog down a highway with a 30lb pack on your back, expedient, but not smart! Every bone in my feet ached after that one!

Food in Spain is very pleasantly plain. No condiments on any sandwich!

Steak is a common and well priced commodity!

And if you are going to walk 500km your pack better be lighter than 10lbs (including water). Every one here says 10kg (22lbs) but after carrying one much, much heavier let me tell you. 10lbs is better!
