Where Murano is famous for glass making the nearby island of Burano is famous for hand made lace.So on our third day in Venice we went to visit Burano. It was a really neat place and the colourful houses reminded me of St. John’s Nfld
Then we returned to the main island, Venice where our Air BnB is and spent the afternoon and evening wandering in the the labyrinth of little narrow streets and bridges that make up this city. It’s quite amazing!
